Romantic Wedding Venue in Cambridge

My partner and I recently held our wedding reception at the Gonville Hotel and had a fantastic experience overall. The hotel's event organisers, Emma and later Abbie, were both extremely helpful throughout the planning process and helped the day itself run very smoothly. Delicious food, a generous drinks package and flexibility including access to the hotel garden all contributed towards a brilliant occasion.

We are so grateful to Abbie and the entire Gonville Hotel team for helping us bring our vision to life and for making our wedding day feel like a dream.

We got married at the Gonville in the winter of 2026, and the experience was simply exceptional. The service, the food, the décor, the room, and all the services in general were excellent.

Hotel staff were amazing supporting us on the day, all our guests felt cared for and we didn't stress knowing that the staff would handle it. The venue is beautiful, the hotel room was stylish, comfortable and cosy.
