Nothing says Christmas like great food experienced with wonderful company, especially when enjoyed in a beautiful location such as Gonville Hotel. Nestle in for the festive season with a delicious festive afternoon or leave the washing up to us and focus on the celebrations with a luxurious Christmas Day lunch.

Christmas isn't just about the big day itself, so if you can't share the festivities on the 25th, come together for a Boxing Day family feast.

Join us for a festive twist on a traditional afternoon tea. Served in our Terrace restaurant from Wednesday to Sunday beginning Wednesday 29th November (excludes Christmas Day and Boxing Day).

Take the stress out of this Christmas and let us do the cooking. Join us between 12:30pm – 3pm to indulge and enjoy the full Christmas Day experience. A sumptuous meal with all the trimmings created by our Head Chef Jamie De Cruz.

Chicken and duck liver terrine with house chutney, salad, and brioche bread

Confit salmon with compressed cucumber, a cucumber and tomato consommé topped with a dill oil

Wild mushroom, Jerusalem artichoke and truffle soup with artichoke crisps

Bresaola with a rocket pesto, balsamic glaze, parmesan foam and a lemon and olive oil dressing

Main Course

Roasted turkey crown with sage and onion stuffing, honey roasted parsnip purée and a turkey gravy

Roasted beef sirloin, spouting broccoli, broccoli purée and a red wine jus

Onion squash, tarragon and parmesan wellington, squash puree and roasted hispi cabbage

Pan roasted cod loin, potato puree and a champagne, chive and trout roe sauce
