This popular event is returning to Cambridge for another year. With six evenings to look forward to spread across the Cambridge summer events schedule, you’ll be spoiled for choice. Or you can attend them all, they’re all free of charge after all! 
 
Each event starts at 3pm and finishes at 5pm - there’s nothing more romantic than a lazy summer Sunday serenade. Here’s the full list of dates and locations so you can get them booked into your calendar.

Fen Edge Festival 

Summer at the fairground is picture perfect. Think couples strolling hand in hand beneath a rainbow of bunting, attempting to win prizes for their significant other and sharing clouds of pink candy floss.  
 
Fen Edge Festival has a little something for everyone. With live music acting as your summer soundtrack to your day at Cottenham Village Green, as well as performances, activities, fairground and even a dog show - our four legged friends are invited to come along and join the day too. Taking place between 21st-23rd June, you can indulge in the delights of Fen Edge with no entry fee - just turn up and take it all in.  

Jazz Nights at Gonville Hotel 

For a romantic summer evening with a luxurious backdrop, Gonville Hotel offers decadent jazz nights for couples who want to schmooze over a bottle of high quality wine and listen to the sultry sound of a smooth saxophonist with their other half.  
 
With a host of sophisticated jazz events sprinkled into our Cambridge summer events schedule, Friday evenings at Gonville Hotel provide the perfect date opportunity this summer. Drink in jazz whilst sipping quality cocktails. Guests or local popping in, everyone’s welcome free of charge, plus, with our dog friendly rooms and public spaces, your dog can don their best bow tie and join you for a journey into jazz. Cambridge Club Festival  

Another highlight on the Cambridge summer events schedule this year is the Cambridge Club Festival. With music from Chaka Khan, Jessie Ware and Natasha Beddingfield you’ll be set for a weekend of great music, delicious street food and an experience that will be the highlight of your summer.  
 
Taking place from 7th - 9th June, you can get day tickets from just £56. Or, if you want to get a true feel for festival life, you can buy weekend tickets and camp out under the summer sky. Don’t worry though, camping at the Cambridge Club fest won’t leave you pitched in your tent in despair, they’ve got glamping options to give your weekend a hint of class. You can even take part in the exclusive campers only Mind, Body & Soul wellness program. This isn’t your ordinary summer festival.  

Organic, Eco-conscious Fine Dining Pop Up  

Two of Cambridge’s popular food establishments have joined forces to bring another hit to your list of Cambridge Summer events. Italians know nothing if not how to throw a romantic dining experience, so between Mulino Pasta and Organic Garden you can indulge in an evening of fine dining. So, if it’s your turn to plan date night, you can bet this one will go down well with your other half. Secure your space for their pop up event on Sunday, 2nd June at 6.30 pm with a £10 deposit. An added extra is the option to have a wine pairing from The Wine Rooms to complement your feast perfectly. Bellissimo! 

 Spanish Evening  

To keep with our taste of Europe, we’ve got another top food pick for your Cambridge summer events calendar. Picture yourself sharing Spanish tapas and sipping sangria whilst listening to a live Flamenco guitarist and you’ll feel as if you’re on the sunny shores of Spain without even needing to leave the UK. The Hare and Hounds in Harlton are hosting their Spanish Evening on 1st June - simply book your table and pay your bill on the day!
